Stephen Priestnall

Founder and Planning Partner

oomph ceo Stephen Priestnall has a history of leading agency roles and game-changing executive positions client side.

He worked in global telco Cable & Wireless in the UK and Bermuda before joining CRM specialist Brann as Planning Director and Client Principal. MD through the dotcom era at WPP Internet outfit Syzygy included an IPO on the Neurmarkt and winning Mercedez Benz, UBS, Disney, Boots, LloydsTSB, The Met Office and Mazda across Europe. Outsourcing marketing through oomph, he ran a Delhi-London-SanFrancisco role as interim CMO for cloud computing global payer, nivio. He is also Director of mass-qual research tech start-up, Clarite.


Mark Edgington

Chief Technical Officer

CTO Mark Edgington has led technical teams across many platforms covering product development, web deployment, systems integration and operations. With 20 years experience internationally across retail, automotive, financial services, travel & media, Stephen & Mark first came together in syzygy.

Mark's passion is for technology and user experience to be thought of together; the outcome an efficient, productive and usable function, with a design that can make you smile.

He has architected and managed solutions for start-ups and grown-ups including companies such as Vodaphone, Telewest, Deutsche bank, HSBC, DeBeers, Disney, Saint Gobain , Mazda, Airmiles, Pfizer, Sky and EY.; holds a 1st class degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence an MSc in Human Computer Interaction and has spoken at FOWA, BCS, IET and various universities on Agile, Software development and web orientated Architectures.

Mark brings the best of user centred development to oomph, making technology-powered marketing work in the real world.
