Developing propositions for future funding

Learning Disability charity Hft is facing an increased demand for its services and cuts to central funding which drive down rates Local Authority commissioners can pay. It had also recently merged with Self Unlimited and needed to establish a clear 5-10 year vision, seek clarity on message and proposition and reposition itself from both an internal and external perspective.

oomph applied the insight programme across a series of workshops with stakeholders drawn from Trustees, staff and senior management.

Supported by an extensive competitor evaluation, the focus was a review of this dramatically changing market, establishing priority audiences, considering funding, communications and service development.

The outcome was a clear proposition for a new strategic direction, differentiating Hft in a highly competitive sector and culminating in a Corprate Identity(CI) and positioning platform.

Rollout is now under way.
